Tommy Crawford
Tommy (vocals, acoustic and electric guitar, mandolin, accordion, harmonica, bandleader, collective leader, music director, co-founder) is an actor, musician, and composer/singer/songwriter. As an actor, some favorite roles include playing Paul McCartney in Only Yesterday (59e59 and Northern Stage), Carl Perkins in Million Dollar Quartet (Weston Playhouse), Alan in One Man, Two Guvnors (Florida Studio Theater), Speedo in Veil’d (WP Theater), Mark in Heresy, and The Carrier in These Seven Sicknesses (both at The Flea). Tommy shares a love of baking sourdough bread with his Lobbyists compatriots, and brings his starter with him wherever he goes. He’d be happy to give you some, if you promise to feed it. Some of his Lobbyists highlights include receiving a Drama Desk nom for SeaWife, spending the summer on Nantucket performing SeaWife, and playing guitar for Les Paul’s son at the Gibson showroom. Tommy lives in Vermont with his wife, director Sarah Elizabeth Wansley, their daughter Athena, and more instruments than he has room for. More at www.tommycrawford.com.
